Reference project Stereolithography & Selective laser sintering
Design models light switch and socket (STL + SLS)
Our customer from South America needed the first design samples of light switches and sockets that he could present at trade fairs. In addition, the patterns should help him to find investors for the production. We created stereolithography models (STL) within a very short time, which were painted in different colors in order to test the effect of the sample parts in differently designed rooms. The project was then expanded to include all other plastic and metal parts that are necessary for fully functional sockets and light switches. The plastic parts were created by laser sintering (SLS), the tiny metal parts were bent from sheet metal.
